War Against Religion
When I was a child, every school day began with the Lord's Prayer. Now it's unconstitutional.
When I was a child, our First Amendment right to freedom of religion was a national badge of honor. Now silently praying in public gets you fired or arrested.
When I was a child, every student was taught about our Creator: all men are "endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights". Now students at Harvard are taught by a head chaplain who is an atheist.
War against religion sometimes is clear, and sometimes is not. Karl Marx preached: religion is the opiate of the masses. John Lennon preached: imagine there's no heaven, above us only sky. Barak Obama preached: when people get bitter, they cling to their guns and religion.
War is raging now. If you pray silently in public, you get fired or arrested. If you went to church instead of a liquor store during COVID, you got arrested because liquor stores but not churches are essential. At the White House egg-roll event for Easter in 2024, President Joe Biden prohibited children from expressing "any questionable content, religious symbols, overtly religious themes, or partisan political statements".
The raging war against religion is not merely a part of the raging civil war in America. Set forth below is an excerpt from a Catholic News Agency article. It reports that, in France, a government minister has charged a Catholic priest with violating the penal code, merely for expressing Catholic dogma and doctrine about homosexuality.
But, in France, mobs are allowed to say anything they want about killing Jews. And Ivy League presidents and Members of Congress are on board with that.
The war against religion should come as no surprise. As President George Washington explained in his Farewell Address, it is the inherent nature of politicians to eliminate everything that interferes with their quest for power. Religion interferes with their quest, because religion is all about a higher power. Religion threatens their raison d'être. Waging war against religion is essential to their quest.
After reading the excerpt of the news article set forth below, think about it, and then pray. But be careful ... don't let them catch you praying.

French government cracks down on priest who said homosexual relations are sinful
By Walter Sánchez Silva
April 3, 2024
The French government has initiated a series of legal measures against Father Matthieu Raffray for calling homosexual relations sinful and for describing homosexuality as a “weakness.”
On March 15, the priest of the Institute of the Good Shepherd -- created in 2006 in Rome for “the defense and dissemination of Catholic Tradition in all its forms,” according to the website of this society of apostolic life -- posted a video on Instagram in which he encouraged the faithful to fight against their weaknesses.
Raffray commented that each person has his or her own weapons with which to fight, but the devil convinces people that the fight “is too hard” and therefore it’s useless to resist.
The video was denounced by various LGBT lobby groups, and Aurore Bergé, government minister for equality between women and men and the fight against discrimination, called the priest’s statements “unacceptable.”
Bergé wrote on X that she has asked the Interministerial Delegation for the Fight against Racism, Anti-semitism, and Anti-LGBT Hatred (DILCRAH) to report the alleged infraction on the basis of Article 40 of the penal code to the public prosecutor. “In the face of hatred I’m not going to let anything get by, whatever it may be,” she added. DILCRAH in turn stated on X that it received the minister’s message and has informed “the prosecutor of the homophobic comments made by Mr. Raffray on social media. So-called ‘conversion therapy’ has been illegal since 2022.”
