The Enemy Within
Enemy. It’s an uncompromising word. It means what it means.
The Mirriam-Webster online dictionary definitions of “enemy” are: (1) “one that is antagonistic to another, especially: one seeking to injure, overthrow, or confound an opponent”; (2) “something harmful or deadly”; and (3) “a military adversary, a hostile unit or force”.
Has America been attacked by foreign enemies? Pearl Harbor and 911 are examples.
Has America been attacked by enemies within? Examples abound.
Every American who is hostile to, and who seeks to overthrow, America’s fundamental principles is an enemy within ... without regard to his/her ethics, intellect, or motivation. That’s the definition of “enemy”. It’s really that simple.
And examples really do abound.
America’s fundamental principles are based unalienable rights endowed by our Creator and the supremacy of one unified nation. The former are expressed in part in the Bill Of Rights ... in the 1st, 2nd, and 10th Amendments. The latter is expressed in the Supremacy Clause in the Constitution. Today, countless enemies within are hostile to, and seek to overthrow, these fundamental principles.
They take to bully pulpits, and to the streets (armed and violent) ... as a hostile force antagonistic to these fundamental principles.
They preach, burn, and assassinate. They create the Disinformation Governance Board, open the borders, and occupy the center of Seattle and declare themselves a new nation. They assault law enforcement officers, and declare themselves to be sanctuary cities and states free from federal immigration law. They create university codes of conduct that permit mobs to call for the genocidal extermination of the Jewish people. The burn and spit on the America Flag. They remove monuments and school names that honor the Founding Fathers.
They are the definition of “enemy”.
If President Trump began attacking the Bill Of Rights and the Supremacy Clause, even he too would be an enemy within. It’s really that simple.
